Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that, before kids can start playing NFL Play 60, they’ll have to agree to the terms of use, which include a physical activity notice releasing the NFL and the American Heart Association from any liability from injuries resulting from play. Kids are only running and jumping with the iPad or iPhone in hand, so, although they’re unlikely to be injured, the device is certainly at risk.

NFL Play 60 is a Health & Fitness app that is designed for those 8.  The app has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 and a learning rating of 3 out of 5.

NFL Play 60 is available for Free On The Following Devices:

iPod Touch

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

Design is really cool, and kids will get a kick out of controlling the avatar with their own movements. The novelty wears off quickly with the repetition of the running game, but the options to use the coins earned to buy gear for the avatar helps keep kids engaged.

The Support Level for NFL Play 60 is about a 3 out of 5.

A tutorial runs kids through the commands when they first play the app and can be accessed at any time from the start page. The coach gives encouraging feedback and reminders as kids play. The app links to a website that includes extensive resources to extend learning.
