Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that FlipCards – Flashcard app for memory training is a fine app for creating flashcards but gives kids access to Quizlet, a public online database of user-submitted flashcard sets that contains some mature content and language. Within the app, kids can create flashcard sets by typing in text or adding images from their camera roll. Kids can view their sets for practice or share the sets by email or on Facebook or Quizlet. Kids can also search for and download flashcard sets created by other users on Quizlet. Quizlet has an educational purpose, and there is a mechanism to flag flashcards as inappropriate on the website, but there are still a fair number of sets that contain mature images and offensive language (often directed at assignments or teachers).
