Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that Disney XD Grand Prix is a kart-racing game featuring many of the characters shown on the network’s cartoon programs. The game, as with most kart racers, features opponents using power-ups to get ahead of other racers — and to slow them down in comical ways (such as a boot kicking them out of the way or throwing a banana and causing them to spin out). It does raise awareness of the programs, but odds are your kids already know these cartoons.

Disney XD Grand Prix is a Racing Games app that is designed for those 9.  The app has an overall rating of 3 out of 5 and a learning rating of  out of 5.

Disney XD Grand Prix is available for $0.99 On The Following Devices:

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

Our star rating assesses the media’s overall quality.

The Support Level for Disney XD Grand Prix is about a out of 5.

Players choose from a variety of racers, featuring characters from Phineas and Ferb, Wander Over Yonder, and more, and customize their vehicles before taking part in a variety of racing scenarios, ranging from traditional racing to determining how many coins you can collect along a track. Some of the controls are standard, such as the jump buttom at the bottom left corner or the power-up at the bottom right. But, to change lanes, you’ll flick the screen up or down rather than side to side or by using the phone or tablet’s gyroscope, which can be confusing at first.
