Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that Bugs and Buttons is a collection of 18 educational and entertaining games with buttons and (very realistic!) bugs. The games involve racing, counting, sorting, finding patterns, using a slingshot, playing tic-tac-toe, connecting dots, navigating a maze, steering, matching, and completing letter sequences. Most of the games involve both buttons and eight bugs among ants, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, fireflies, and ladybugs. Succeeding in the games helps kids win stamps of the bugs to collect in a book. Seeing realistic ants crawl all over the screen might unnerve young children, but the games may help them feel more comfortable with insects. By default, cockroaches and spiders are disabled but can be turned on in the settings. Voice-overs are available in 14 languages.

Bugs and Buttons is a Education app that is designed for those 4.  The app has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 and a learning rating of 4 out of 5.

Bugs and Buttons is available for $2.99 On The Following Devices:

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

The wide assortment of games and the increasing difficulty level within each game gives the app a lot of entertainment value — so long as kids aren’t too squeamish about pinching a bug or two!

The Support Level for Bugs and Buttons is about a 4 out of 5.

Visual instructions demonstrate how to play the games. High scores translate into stamps that are collected in a stamp book. Multiple user accounts can be enabled in settings.
