Q: I've been trying for almost a year now, but I cannot get through to them. I try to save up the money, but even then, they won't let me get one. What do I do to open up to them about it? I do very well in school. And like I said, even if I have $500 in my pocket, they will not let me get one.
A: Tell them you'll start hanging out with "the bad crowd" if not occupied with a 360 and you will become a burnt out druggie loser in several years living on the streets. Tell them it also stimulates your mind and helps hand eye coordination. If all that fails tell them that by them doing this to you will forever scar you and you'll always have attachment issues in your adult life. You'll have multiple divorces and you won't be able to stick to one career for more than 6 months. If you do have children they will be negatively affected by your issues and they will turn out to be just as bad if not worse than you someday. All because of a 360 ;)
