Q: Whenever my ethernet is connected to my xbox my computers internet never works, Xbox Live works, it just disconnects every 10 minutes. So I can't go on the computer while xbox live is online and connected. Its really pissing me off, cause it used to work normally and now it doesnt... and whenever the omputers off the internet doesnt work on the xbox... and how would I go about ddoing that? I don't see anythign related t what you said in settings
A: You have an IP conflict. When you turn on the Xbox, it steals the IP from the computer, causing it not to work. When you turn off the xbox the IP can now be used by the PC, hince internet will work on the PC again. Go into your xbox and take out the static IP, or change it to a higher number. You can do this in the SYSTEM blade, under NETWORK and EDIT SETTINGS.
