A: First of all: *ALL* single player games will work with the Arcade version exactly the same as with the Pro Version. The only disadvantage you will face is, that some games like Oblivion, GTA IV and Halo3 use the harddisc to speed up loading time. In regards to Multiplayer, some very few games require you to have a harddisc in multiplayer mode. For example Crackdown and Burnout Paradise require the Harddisc for Multiplayer. And finally, if you want to play Xbox 1 games, you absolutely need a harddisc. To answer your additional question: Yes, you can buy the harddisc acessory, but buying them seperately will be more expensive than buying the Pro right away, as you will be missing the HDTV capable cable, the headset and the network cable. Also your Arcade will have a white plastic drive cover instead of a chrome finish like the Pro does.
