Q: Ok, my xbox 360 has been heating up lately and turning itself along with getting the red lights on the front. The last time it did it, it turned off and now just wont turn on again. I heard from someone the manufacturers will replace the xbox with a new one. Is that true? How should i go about it and does it matter that it has passed its one year guarantee?? I just hope i don't have to go buy a new console.. Thanks in advance
A: Hi, If you have the 3 red lights then Microsoft will fix it for you for free. However if you have any other common error such as the 1 red light error, 2 red lights or DVD drive problems you will have to pay to get it fixed which costs about $140. Hope this helps and you get it fixed soon!
