Q: It shows a three red lights on the on button. I've had it for less than a year and never messed with it or anything. I just wanna know why something so expensive can just turn into a piece of s%$%!
A: I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but the majority of the Xbox 360's on the market today are defective. This is a problem that wasnt corrected until sometime this year. Luckily for you, you've got a 3 year warrenty on it, so you can send it in to get fixed free of charge. What you need is the newer model of the Xbox 360 with the Falcon Chip in it, apparently that uses less electricity, lowering the chance of it overheating and killing itself. Thats what the 3 red lights mean, that your system overheated and commited suicide. Send it in, and if you ever find yourself having any more problems and Microsoft wont help, use this website to help you in being able to tell which ones have Falcon Chips and which ones do not. http://loot-ninja.com/2007/12/18/how-to-spot-a-xbox-360-with-a-falcon-chip-and-why-you-should/
