A: Using a sharpie to draw on your controller is not a great idea. It is marker and even though permanent, it will fade and wear off on your hands as you play. If you feel the need to change your controller, use stickers or temporary tatoos. Those you can remove if you get tired of, and they won't come off on your hands. I dont' think the idea of using clear coat is good, neither is using clear cote.
