Q: i installed a new lens in my xbox 360 hitachi dvd drive but it doesnt work and the system does not recognize it. ive heard about flashing, is that what i need to do? if so how would it be done? please help havent played the 360 in months ;)
A: You biggest mistake was to try and do it yourself. XBOX 360 hardware isn't that easy to fix unless you really and I mean really know what you are doing. That's how Repair places can charge so much to do the repair and why Microsoft offers the extended warranty
