Q: I have connected the Ethernet cable from Xbox 360 to the back of my pc's Ethernet port that has a wireless router, and do not understand why it is not working I have connected the ethernet cable from xbox to pc ethernet port which is wireless and is isnt working. I have a wireless router but its downstairs in the other room and not willing to use a long wire across to room. its far. any help will be very appreciated.Thanks its not that i dont want a long wire. its just the room is down stairs and far from my room, it just looks tacky is there any other solution. thanks by the way
A: You should buy a 15m ethernet cable so you can connect it to your router. That's what I did. Why don't you want to use a long wire? EDIT: You could buy the wireless adapter for the Xbox 360 since you have a router. But it's expensive.
