Q: I know of the towel trick and how it is a temporary fix, but I would like to find a way to fix this for good without doing that. If anyone knows of a better way without going through Microsoft I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
A: I had the same problem with my xbox 360 and i fixed mine on my own and its been 3 weeks without a e74.. your going to have to void the warranty on the xbox 360 but if your not going to send it in to microsoft its probably not a big deal then.. send me an email and ill give you step by step directions if your intrested. bradytowatson@hotmail.com
