Q: I would rather buy the elite then the pro if it comes with the HD cables
A: Both the Pro and Elite come with the component cable for the 360. The Elite comes with a HDMI cable as well. You can use any HDMI cable though, so this isn't really a big deal. I buy my HDMI cables from a local store for $9 a piece. You can get them slightly cheaper on the internet as well. If you want to use surround sound though, the optical audio port is on the the component cable connector. Just plug that into your 360 (don't bother with the other cables) and use the optical audio port to connect to your surround sound system. Plug the HDMI cable into the TV as normal.
