Q: Hi, With the Xbox you receive 6 different component cables. These are the first 3: red, white and yellow (I know these are two audio and a video.) But then you have a red, blue and green. Where do these three cables plug in, are they for HD or are they for surround sound? Thank you
A: The red, blue and green cables are for the component input on the HDTV. The newer XBOX360's have a HDMI cable, which gives you a better picture. If you don't have the HDMI, you are stuck with the RGB, which isn't really that bad and if your monitor is 720p, you won't see any difference.
