Q: my xbox 360 flashed 3 red lights then worked tidy then flashed agen then worked tidy whats the problem? please help
A: This happened to me about 3 months ago, whats happened is that the heat generated by the xbox has warped the motherboard causing key components to detach from it, the reason it keeps working is because they will sometimes reconnect since the xbox heats up the solder used to keep certain things together and so the connect for a brief period of time. I would suggest sending it off to microsoft for repair, since its 3 red lights they'll do it for free :) also they give u and extended warrenty.
