Q: Every time I put a game in Like Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 it says "Disc is unreadable please try restarting your console or cleaning the disc with a soft cloth" we have tried restarting the console,cleaning the disc,using a lens cleaner,and blew on the lens..Nothing works!We can play a CD and we can play the Xbox download games but not the Xbox games...What could be wrong?And what should I do?
A: Your lens might be broken. This happened to me on my PS2: it played CD-ROM games like Madden but not DVD-ROM games like GTA III. I sent it back for repairs and sure enough that was the case. Seeing as how the games you mentioned are in DVD format yet your system can play the others, I would say it needs repair.
