Q: i have some songs on my computer and want to listen to them on my 360 but the dvd drive dosnt work how else can i get the songs onto the 360 hardrive? also without using the media centre thing the 360 has thanks for the help unfortunatly my mp3 player broke a few days ago and i havnt got a memory stick either
A: Currently at the moment there is no other way of transferring files to the Xbox 360's hard drive with out using a CD to do so. Even using the Media Center Extender interface on the Xbox 360 you can not transfer any data be it pictures, music or videos to the Xbox 360 this is Streaming the Media only. To load music on to the hard drive you can only do it by inserting a disc and ripping its music on to the hard drive. You can't use a usb drive, portable drive or any attached Pc via a network.
