Q: i just got the three rings on my xbox and i need to send it in but i modded the case with light and stuff. will they still take it.
A: No they will not accept it, even if the unit isn't hacked or chipped to play modded games you can not send it in as you have voided your warranty by opening the unit. You can try putting it in the regular case and see if they don't notice but it might not work, couldn't hurt to try though as they would just send the unit back un-repaired.
