Q: I deleted my xbox 360 gamertag off of my xbox. I went to create a new one, so I put in my info, and my email. But then it told me that my email was being used for another gamertag. I went back to make sure I deleted my gamertag, which I did. But I can still sign myself into www.xbox.com with my old gamertag! How do I delete my gamertag for good? Or at least switch the email on my old gamertag?
A: Try this... Go to Account Management > Contact Information and enter your password. You should have the option to change your email address. Change your email to a different address, and try creating a new tag under your normal, or alternate address. Good Luck.
