Q: OK, I bought a wireless network adapter for my Xbox 360 Elite (120GB). I hooked it up to the back, and when I try going on Xbox Live, it says It can't connect. (The light on the adapter is red.) It gives me the option to test my connection, but it says my wireless network is not connected. I want to know how to hook it up to my NETGEAR wireless router. And by the way, my Xbox 360 is in my basement, and the router is another story up. (Main floor.) I have had internet connection down there before. (Using my laptop.) Someone please help me! I want to know how do I connect my Wireless Adapter to my NETGEAR Wireless Router.
A: Well by any chance is the router password protected? because if it is, it won't just automatically connect, you have to manually connect it by going to the options and then it'll say something like put in password or something i forgot.
