Q: So I turn on my xbox 360 and see nothing on the screen. I turn it off and turn it back on. half way on the startup logo it freezes. After tuning it on and off for about 5 or 7 times untill the home screen it will run just fine. oh yeah had it sent in three times. 1. RROD 2. CD drive broke 3. E 74. They did fix it free on the third time. Microsoft sucks! Anyways thanks for the help.
A: I dont know exactly why your system is freezing, but I did just get my system back due to an E74 error. One troubleshooting tip I would give is to pay close attention to slight power fluctuations. Many electronics require a certain range of power output to function properly, and its possible that 'dirty' power can screw with your system enough to cause you to have to keep resetting the system. If you have a UPS, try plugging the 360 into that and see if it fixes the issue at all... Good luck
