Q: I just ordered an Xbox 360 and am thinking of getting a year long gold membership but I don't like multiplayer games. Is it worth spending the money even though I don't play multiplayer games or is the free silver membership just as good?
A: Gold membership is basically exclusively for playing games online with other players, I really do suggest this, because it can be really really fun. But if your not interested in it just stick with silver. NOTE: When you purchase an Xbox 360, it comes automatically with 3 one-month gold membership trials. Just create a silver xbox live account and when it asks to upgrade say no, then you will automatically get the 1-month trial. You must have your xbox connected to internet for this, though. I suggest you try it out and if you like it buy the 12+1 month.
