The Witigo parental control program allows children to be safe on the internet through its use of technology. The software filters websites by analyzing their content; so whether it is a newly created website or an old one, everything related to the categories you block will be prohibited accordingly. Those categories may also be changed to reflect new information that you find you don't want your child to see.
What's in the Software?
The developing team at Witigo created ICE technology; Intelligent Content Evaluation. ICE allows the ability to analyze, in real time, different websites under your blocked categories. In other words, you don't have to keep checking up on newly created websites that might have content you want blocked because real time does that for you!
It filters content in five different languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian. There are 31 languages to choose from with which it may block content from, as well as up to 27 categories from which you may choose to block content.

Customizations for the Parents to Utilize...
Parents have the ability to personalize the filters by setting up passwords that only they know. With the power of those passwords, parents can also make a specific list of websites to allow access to or not allow access to. The software has another feature that will prohibit the child from downloading or exporting files, or even access to video sites like YouTube, if so desired.
Parents may personalize which games or apps the child may play on, as well as the time allotted for them, by use of the software's password protection. To keep tabs, you as a parent are able to monitor the safety of your child from the information gathered by the Witigo software.
