If the teacher is registered in the website, the lists will show up for your personal use. The option for “Load Sample Lists” brings you back to the home page. The great thing about Spelling City, is the usability. The spelling lists can be added in my students, parents, and teachers. Use the login icon on the top right corner of the page to access the ability to change the lists and create your own words to place in the app. Upon the login icon, you nay chose to login as a parent or teacher, or as a student. All you need is a username and password and your set to go! The green “i” icon at the top right hand side of the page brings up a pop-up. This pop-up tells you which version of the app you are using, as well as a detailed description of the application. Links to the website are provided as well as options to contact the developer and learn more. The registered trademark is made to assist students to learning their spelling words as well as helping parents and teachers deliver the words in a fun and effective way.

Our Opinion Of The App

The learning rating of Spelling City ranks at around a 4-4.5/5. The effective and colorful activities create a fun environment to learn in. Although the app is made for all ages including students up to 12th grade, we suggest that the users of this app be under 13 years old. The games are directed more at the younger generation of children and can be more relatable with younger students rather than older ones. The constant voice over of encouragement and directions as well as the colors and options gives the app an overall experience a 4/5. We suggest that students and teachers of elementary school and middle school learn the application to the best of their ability and would benefit greatly from the kid-friendly spelling app.
