Some Things To Keep In Mind
Parents need to know that SongPop lets teens play song-trivia games against friends (via Facebook) or against people they don’t know (via the app’s random match-up). Playlists are diverse and include categories such as Modern Country, ’80s Alternative, Today’s Rap, and many more. Players start off with four playlists and then have to earn more playlists by listening to snippets of songs and answering questions correctly about them, or they pay for more coins ($1.99 for 500, for example). The app says it’s “ad free,” but it connects players to iTunes so players can buy the songs featured in the game. Nothing outstandingly original here, just a basic music-trivia game for teens and adults.
SongPop is a Music Games app that is designed for those 16. The app has an overall rating of 3 out of 5 and a learning rating of 1 out of 5.
