Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that Sofia the First: The Floating Palace includes a book about the Disney Junior show character’s adventure with mermaids and a creation tool for kids to narrate and animate their own puppet shows. The story includes an evil sea monster who captures Oona, Sofia’s mermaid friend, but the scary parts are very brief and end happily. Positive messages about family and friendship and accepting differences tie it all together. The puppet-show creation tool is really easy for preschoolers to use, and they’ll be able to create some fun retellings of the story on their own.

Sofia the First: The Floating Palace is a Entertainment app that is designed for those 4.  The app has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 and a learning rating of 3 out of 5.

Expressive narration will engage kids in the story, and creating their own shows with the puppets and scenes is really fun. Disney fans will love seeing Ariel on the adventure.

Videos created by kids are saved in the app. Text is narrated in the book, but there’s no word highlighting as words are read.
