What You Need To Know As A Parent

As a parent, know that this app is great as a beginning stage for preschoolers. The long hours in front of a TV are cut down to short video clips that have important lessons behind them. All the lessons have a very positive background and can be trusted to teach your preschoolers the correct information as they make their way through the important years of their little lives. Most of the characters on the app, you will recognize. Characters from Curious George and Sesame Street are also featured as a motivation and encouraging learning environment. They can play games and be engaged in activities with some of their favorite characters. Having Elmo right to them will help them feel like they aren’t alone and that Elmo is learning with them. If their favorite characters are learning and teaching, then it HAS to be okay, right?! We suggest that as parents, you sit down with the children and walk them through it to make sure they do not get distracted or get out of the app or website. PBS kids video also has a website which serves the same function.
