Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that PAW Patrol Rescue Run is a side-scrolling platform game designed for preschoolers with characters from the Nickelodeon show Paw Patrol. It’s a good introduction to platform games for young kids, as they’ll always complete the rescue run with no lives lost. If a kid hits an obstacle, the dog backs up and lets him or her try again. After each rescue, kids complete a short sorting activity. Kids can choose from three rescue scenes and replay them to earn all the badges.

PAW Patrol Rescue Run is a Education app that is designed for those 4.  The app has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 and a learning rating of 3 out of 5.

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

The adventures are fun, with bonus badges for kids to collect and silly moves to discover, but they’re repetitive.

The Support Level for PAW Patrol Rescue Run is about a 3 out of 5.

Up to four kids can keep accounts on each device, but you can’t track progress within the individual accounts. Clear instructions explain how to play, so nonreaders and kids new to platformers can easily catch on.
