Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that Olaf’s Adventures is a paid app starring Frozen’s goofy snowman that also potentially includes in-app purchases. Kids guide Olaf around a wintry scene (spring also can be downloaded for free), exploring the surroundings and discovering snowflakes. The goal is to find 10, but happening upon them becomes quite challenging toward the end. Help is available by tapping the magnifying glass, but even that may not prove helpful enough, so younger kids might get frustrated.

Olaf’s Adventures is a Entertainment app that is designed for those 6.  The app has an overall rating of 3 out of 5 and a learning rating of  out of 5.

Olaf’s Adventures is available for $1.99 (with in-app purchases) On The Following Devices:

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

Our star rating assesses the media’s overall quality.

The Support Level for Olaf’s Adventures is about a out of 5.

OLAF’S ADVENTURES begins in winter, where an on-screen hand prompts kids what to do — starting with knocking off Olaf’s head. From there, kids move Olaf around the scene, encountering adventures such as sledding down the snowy hill, inspecting (and being impaled on) an icicle, dodging snowballs, and more, each earning a snowflake. Once he’s collected 10, he earns a prize for Elsa. In spring, which can be unlocked with an in-app purchase, Olaf’s adventures include dodging apples thrown at him, searching for his missing head in barrels, and more.
