Summary

The Netflix app is the mobile version of the monthly subscription, providing access to online shows and movies. It is a provider for streaming movies and whole series of TV shows even years after their stop. It once started as a DVD rental, and in 2007 began streaming, which gained it global popularity. The app can be downloaded on your mobile device to watch on the run, on public transportation, before a meeting, and more.

What You Need To Know As A Parent

As a parent of a child who is planning to use Netflix, you must know some key things. They cannot watch or stream anything unless you have made and paid for the account and linked it with your card. If you do not pay the low monthly bill, then you do not have access to watching the movies and TV shows available. There are some very inappropriate movies on Netflix, which are not rated, or not very popular. There is a great deal of sexual content and violence as well as bad language. There is an easy way to avoid this if your child is watching things on their own. Make sure you keep the login credentials and log onto the account every now and then. Netflix shows “recently watched” shows, “continue watching” shows, and has the history available to see what they account has viewed. This is the easy and low profile way of monitoring the account, which is greaty advised with children under the age of 15. If your child knows the password, they can get in and change the login without parent consent to block them from seeing what they’ve been watching. If they do this, it is easy to cancel the account and pull the credit card. The app does allow five different family members to have different accounts within the payment. These come up like login icons without passwords, and the child can easily switch between the different accounts. There is no option to block movies and block out certain genres of movies, so everything can be easily watched with just one click from a little kid. There are a great amount of kid shows and kid movies to pick from, including things like Home, The Incredibles, Clifford, and more popular shows. Sadly, Netflix does not have a lock on certain movies and genres of film such as the “horror”, “gay and lesbian”, and “violent movie” sections. Among the kids good intentions to watch their shows, there is such easy access to violence, sexual content, bad language, and drinking films.

Content Overview

Netflix currently has over 81 million happy users and usually has amazing reviews for the low monthly cost and quality shows. Over 190 countries have been reached and used Netlfix on a daily basis, gaining global popularity. There is no limit to the amount of Netlfix you can watch each month. The number of episodes and movies åÊyou can watch is always unlimited and at your highest ideals. Anything from documentaries, to new releases, to popular and old TV shows can be found easily by the search engine installed within Netflix. The app is the exact same thing as what it looks like online or on the TV, except on a much smaller and more mobile screen. All of the same streams show up on the mobile device as the do on the television or computer. A list of all the content is hard to find an updated version because the content is always changing and adding popular things as it drops the non popular things. Netflix is growing more and more popular, adding better content every year. Not many people have been dissatisfied with their subscription, and if you are, it is easy to cancel the order and stop subscription payments.
