Some Things To Keep In Mind

Parents need to know that Maleficent Free Fall is a match-3 game, themed around the movie Maleficent. It is very similar in gameplay to Frozen Free Fall, but with a darker feel and magic spells as power-ups. As with other similar games, you have a limited number of lives. Once these run out, you must wait for them to regenerate or purchase more. You have to wait about 30 minutes to regenerate one life or pay $0.99 to refill them all. Magic (for power-ups) can be purchased starting at $0.99 or by completing special offers that may ask for personal information such as your name, phone number, and email address.

Maleficent Free Fall is a Puzzle Games app that is designed for those 7.  The app has an overall rating of 3 out of 5 and a learning rating of  out of 5.

Our Thoughts on the Level of Engagement:

Our star rating assesses the media’s overall quality.

The Support Level for Maleficent Free Fall is about a out of 5.

MALEFICENT FREE FALL asks players to match three or more gems of the same color to remove them from the board. Removing more than three creates special power gems that remove large numbers of gems. Each level has a unique goal, but each includes clearing at least one gem over each tile or removing chains of gems by matching them. On each level, you’re given a character “helper,” such as young Maleficent or adult Maleficent. They don’t seem to do much other than perhaps roll their eyes if you fail the level, though. Once you complete the more than 285 main levels, you can unlock “The Moors,” which provides about 80 more levels. You also can purchase access for $2.99.
