Hey, can I run Crysis on this pc?

Q: So yeah, Im getting a pc yay...ok, annnd i really like Crysis. From what ive seen it looks kick a.s.s! Anyways, I really hope ill be able to run it. I know the graphics card isnt all that, but i mean it is part of the 8 series so thats gotta count for something, right? Ok, so yeah i know the pc isnt like, a gaming "RIG" but just tell me if i'll be able to run the game, and if i can on which settings, Like low, medium or high or whateva. ok so here goes: Intel core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz 2048MB RAM 500GB HDD DVD+DVDRW dual layer drive Integrated 56k modem & 10/100 LAN Memory card reader NVidia GeForce 8600GS graphics with 512MB dedicated video RAM Office one suite Vista Home Premium soOoOo...penny for your thoughts?

A: Just because its a 8-Series card doesn't mean its going to be great. In the Geforce 8 series everything from 8600GTS and below will not run Crysis that good. With that setup your looking at 1024x768 medium and a few high settings to get smooth gameplay. At 1280x1024 it will play with medium settings but it will struggle. Thats the most it can handle Crysis With Crysis everything and especially the graphics card matters. You have to clarify whether that is a 8600GTS or 8600GT as there is no "8600GS" in the desktop line. With that card you should able to run most other games at 1280x1024 high settings, but Crysis is going to run very poor with that card. The rest of the specs are decent but the graphics card is weak and ok for casual gaming.
