"In 100% of the cases, [kids] that are the victims of sexual predators have gone willingly to meet with them."
- Girl Scouts of America
Do you feel powerless about what your kids are doing on their phones when you’re in the other room, or even when you’re sitting right beside them? There’s a lot that your kids can get into. If you’re beginning to feel like a bad parent, you’re not alone!
"One in five U.S. [kids] who regularly log on to the Internet say they have received an unwanted sexual solicitation via the Web. Solicitations were defined as requests to engage in sexual activities or sexual talk, or to give personal sexual information."
- Crimes Against Children Research Center
With technology constantly changing, it’s difficult to keep up with the latest risks that endanger your children. But it’s not impossible. In fact, there is software that has been developed to help protect your children when they’re on their phones, tablets, or computers.
"My name is Tiffany, and I have 8 kids and 7 grandchildren. I knew my children were exposed to things on the Internet that I didn’t want them to see, but I had no idea on how to keep them safe. I was frustrated and worried.
I tried to monitor what they were exposed to but became one of those overprotective parents who had to constantly hover over my kids, and sometimes it even got to the point where I didn’t allow them to use their iPads.
So I did a lot of research to find parental control tools that I could use to keep my kids safe on the Internet. Now that I have tools in place to filter and monitor their activity, I can let my kids browse the Internet freely."
Tiffany's story inspired us to help all parents have the same success. So our entire team at Game Advice made it our personal mission to empower every parent to keep their kids safe. We tested the top ranked parental control software programs on our personal devices to make sure that we could give you the best possible solution for you and your children.
We analyzed ease-of-use of each software and we discovered that most were not very user-friendly. We also found that some software did not effectively block adult content. In fact, most of the programs didn't even report on text messages or phone call usage. That's why we were blown away when we found...
Here's why this program gets our number one recommendation. Qustodio:
We think Qustodio is great and here are a few things we learned...
You can only set time limits by the hour, so if you want to give your children extra time make sure to set your own timer.
Parental notifications come via email, so make sure you check your email regularly.
Qustodio on iOS doesn't support location monitoring, but iOS already has this feature built in through Find My Friends.
“I've written a few product reviews over the years to warn others against defective or lame products, or unethical companies, but this time I'm taking time to give credit where it is due. After much hunting, we switched from other web filters to Qustodio. The others either slowed down web surfing to a crawl, or they wouldn't filter all browsers on my son's PC. Qustodio doesn't noticeably slow down the performance of PCs or iPad whatsoever! With Qustodio, he can now play all of the games (that we permit) without performance problems.” - Jennifer Miller
You will get unlimited access to Qustodio's parental control software for just $49.95 a year for up to 5 devices. That comes out to less than $0.14 per day. Isn't your child's safety worth more than $0.14 a day?
If you have a larger family, you can add even more devices at an even lower rate.
For small families.

The sooner you get started, the sooner you will feel confident that your kids are safe when searching the web. If you don't protect your kids now, will you ever?
If you are not satisfied with the software after trying it out, you can easily get your money back. To do so, just email email@example.com with a subject line of "Termination Request."

"This app does a great job helping us monitor our kids activities and blocking undesirable sites. It breaks down the minutes they spend on each app and shows how many minutes they are online. I tried Net Nanny and this is far better. It doesn't slow down the Internet and provides a more comprehensive feedback. I quit using Net Nanny even though we had 6 months left on the subscription, but I just switched to the paid version of Qustodio after trying the free version for 5 months because the free version worked so well that I wanted to put it on all of my kids' devices."
“I love how it tells me which websites they have been visiting, and which ones have been blocked, such as weapons website (my 16-year-old loves to hunt). Also the percentages and pie chart of how much time they are spending on their device. Another thing I have appreciated is being able to read the text messages that they receive. It gives me an idea of what kind of kids their friends are, and that my kids aren't being [targeted online].”
