Q: going to treat myself to a console and am torn between these two. would like peoples opinions on them please.
A: Im sorry, i thought this debate was settled last year when the 360 kicked the ps3's butt (and has been out competing ps3 ever since)--oh yes, the 360 had another price cut Well, i am 100% sure that every1 who tells you to get a ps3 is going to say so because of blueray. Blue ray this, bluray that. I'm not sure if you know about both of the systems capabilities but yea, it goes like this. Ps3 benefits-----blue ray, free (but sucky and unstructured) online gaming 360 benefits----every thing else And im not sure if you heard, but this fall, the 360 is getting an update. I mean the whole live experience is changed. It allows for Live gamers to create an avatar that looks just like them and moves around and interacts with other people (like the sims) and the players can interact in communities with their friends and play game shows similar to TV game shows, like "Deal or No Deal" and others. (Despite the music, music videos, streaming the content off your computer- yes, every song, every picture, every piano recital, video, and vacation you have ever been on can be streamed from your windows based computer and or digital camera/ cell phone camera and/ or I-pod without load times. And also, you can download movies in high-def from the market place, free demos of upcoming games (I just played the Force Unleashed demo for free like 2 days ago), video & voice chat, online gaming with friends including advanced player matching settings and more). And you can also take your Live camera and put you real life face on some of the game characters, like Rainbow six Vegas. I think I only named like 10 percent of what 360 can do. So if you want to forfeit seeing the other 90% just for a crisper blue ray movie experience, then you can, i mean, its your money anyway.
