Q: I was just wondering because I just got an acoustic guitar and learned how to play nothing else matters by metallica within 1 day. Does this show that guitar hero makes you better at playing the real guitar?
A: This is a controversy lately. A lot of people who play the guitar can't play guitar hero very well. However, we had a friend that told us that it was very similar, especially Rock Band, which I think is easier btw. On Guitar hero, all you are doing is following a beat and playing on beat, similar to drums. Guitar is more of a flowing change of chords. But this will be a person to person thing. It may help make you a great accoustic player and it may confuse another. Me? It would mess me up a great deal to try to learn both at the same time. Congrats on being a great learner though. You will love playing the guitar. Keep up the good work.
