A: Well, I gotta give you props for doing some research on your own. Picking a game console is going to largely depend on what games you want to play. Since the PS3 has MLB 08: The Game which is a game you definitely want to play, and it's not on the 360, it sounds like the PS3 is the system for you. I wouldn't worry too much about the PS3's warranty. So far it seems that the PS3 is a much more reliable machine than earlier models of the 360. Higher price is sort of a bummer, but at the same time, you won't be spending $50/year to play online, so in a way you will be saving money with the PS3 over the long run. Also, keep in mind that consoles (and games) will drop in price over time. You may want to buy a PS3 now and then in a year or two, pick up a 360 when they're much cheaper and play its exclusive games. Lots of people are buying multiple consoles simply because there are good games on each of them.
