Q: Can we play it by taking out the battery? Letting it run on AC power instead via the AC adaptor(charger). I know that we can charged the battery while playing but what about taking the battery out? Will it damage the hardware of the psp? Cos I don't want to damage the battery by overcharging it
A: If you play the PSP from the charger you don't have to worry about the battery because once it is fully charged the circuit switches over to using AC power only and bypasses the battery. It's just the same as if you took the battery out. I use my PSP while on charge all the time and my battery still works perfectly, so don't worry. :)
