Q: I have researched all three of the 7th gen consoles ( 360, PS3 and Wii) and found out the lowest prices. Note: This includes 4 controllers, 2 charging stations ( Wii and 360, PS3 controllers charge themselves). External memory for Wii. NO EXTRA GAMES INCLUDED NO BUNDELED SYSTEMS. Xbox 360: $609.94 PS3: $579.96 Wii:$559.90 The 360 seems to be the most expensive next to the PS3 and the Wii. My question is..... Which one is the best in THESE options: Compatibility Quality Software Games Creativity Value In Terms of Hardware Speed Graphics All of these options rate 1-10 Thanks in advance. 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER.
A: Which one is the best in THESE options: Compatibility = PS3 (if you get the 80GB version backward compatibility for PS2 games, industry standard laptop hard drives, bluetooth for headsets, keyboards, and mice) Quality = Tie between Wii and PS3 (the 360 just has too many hardware failure problems between red rings of death, and scratch disc problems) Software = 360 (has the most software currently available, and the most robust online system) Games = Currently I'd say 360, but by the end of this year the PS3 will have some of the best exclusive titles out there, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, and plenty of others. Creativity = Wii (gimmicky controls) Value In Terms of Hardware = Best value overall is the PS3, you showed it in your costs breakdown. For $20 more than the Wii you get HD gaming, a blueray player, 40GB Hard Drive, ability to stream from pc to the device, you can install linux and use it as a computer (dual boot) as well. Speed = Tie (PS3 & 360) both machines are robust machines Graphics = Tie (PS3 & 360) on some games the 360 has better looking graphics and others the PS3, in fact recently some game reviewers are saying that even GTA 4 looks a little better (realistic) on the PS3, whereas the 360's version looks a little more (cartoonish) animated.
