Better graphics in the long run??

Q: 1. NO FANBOY CRAP PLEASE!! 2. NO SPAM FOR A FREE XBOX OR PS3!! Okay so who do you think will? I mean if Sony can pack more stuff into a blu-ray disc, it does not mean better graphics. It just means more levels can be on a game. And soon, Microsoft is either going to get blu-ray from Sony, or they are going to make up their own disc contraption. But I think that downloaded games is where everybody is going. And for the graphics now... you have to admit they are a little better on the Xbox 360 than they are on the PS3. I was thinking of changing over to the PS3, but I looked at all of the games and they seemed kinda "dark-futuristic-warish games". So I decided to stick with Xbox with the familiar great graphic games. So what is your input on this matter? I want to hear from all sides... except for Wii. And no offense was intended to the PS3 or the Xbox 360 above.

A: Well the way I see it there are two basic ways to look at it. From a pure tech point of view the PS3 is capable of better graphics and thats not something that will ever change. Of course when you look at it realisticly it comes down to the game designers to push the system. Want a good example, look at how everybody loved the XBox cause it had so much more power than the PS2, which is true. Look at a game like FFX then, early in the console cycle, on the less powerful system, graphics that are on par with anything the XBox put out. In the long run I don't ever think there will be a clear cut winner... unless you do as a fanboy cause to them there already is but we all know how smart they are. Honestly its getting to the point where soon graphics are going to hit the point that even if they improve most people wont be able to tell the difference.
