Q: I am thinking about getting 1 and im wondering how browsing the web works?
A: I think one of the updates puts it on there. If you play new games, it should upload the update. From there you just need to connect to a wifi and you're good to start browsing. You'll see internet from the menu screen. In all honesty though, its not the greatest browser and you're probably better off not using it, especially if you have a computer sitting right next to you.
