A: The slot beneath the cd slot is for SD Cards... not DS Cards... Sd Cards are basically memory cards. Some games allow you to save game data on the SD card instead of in the wii system memory and you can save pictures from a digital camera or cell phone on the card and then transfer them to the wii photo channel... the wii can only play wii and gamecube games (plus games from the vitual console)
