Q: is there a difference between the reg rockband for 360 and the new rockband for the wii?
A: The only difference between rock band and rock band special edition for each console is whether or not it's bundled with the instruments. The differences between rock band 1 for 360 and rock band 1 for wii, however, are staggering. The Wii version lacks downloadable content and there's no world tour (campaign) mode, which I find inexcusable. I'm a Wii owner who was looking forward to purchasing rock band at any price until that sad little fact came out. Rock Band 2, I hear, doesn't have any features stripped for the Wii version. My household committed to guitar hero world tour back in our rage-over-RB1 phase, so I won't be picking it up for a while, but I have nothing unpleasant to say about it. Just make sure there's a "2" in the title before you purchase it!
