Q: Hi! I have a Nintendo Wii connected to the internet via my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. On my laptop connected to the internet, using the latest xp wi-fi connector software, it will change between 2, 1 and no bars signal. Is there any way to increase, or direct, the Wii's wireless signal to reach my connector with better signal? Thanks.
A: 1. Try plugging your laptop into the AC adapter, turning down the screen brightness, or unplugging any other USB devices, especially hubs and those with things like lights. It might be that the connector isn't getting enough power. 2. Invest in a Wi-Fi range extender. You can pick one up at any electronics store. 3. Move your laptop closer to the Wii, or vice versa. 4. Remove any interference (i.e. cordless phones, microwave ovens, enormous metal sculptures, etc.)
