Q: when i was going to play mario party 8 it stopped and said something like "an error has occurred and to eject the game disc and to turn the power off and to see wii manuel" but my wii won't turn off! what do i do?
A: Like all game consoles, they have few flaws. My Wii has done this to me before. A good reset of the system should fix it, and you shouldn't see it again for a long while. While the Wii is on (green light), hold down the power putton until it is off (red light), NOT standby (yellow light). Then just wait a few seconds, and push the button once to turn it back on like you do normally. Do not unplug it directly, that can harm the Wii. If you must unplug the Wii, wait until it's completely off (red light).
