Q: ok. im stressed right now and angry because i cant find a router to get my wii connected to the internet.I have Cable, and I just bought a Linksys Wireless router with 802.11G. I am wondering if I bought the right one and if i did how do i set it up so i can hook it up. If i didnt, can you nice people help me find the best one? and i would like instructions for that one also. Thank-you.
A: actually, the router you bought is one of the best ones to use. if you haven't set it up on your computer yet, then just insert the disc that came with it and follow the instructions. (if you are going to place security on it, use WEP) if you have set it up, then on the Wii's home menu, go to the Wii's Settings, and on the 2nd or 3rd page, there is an option called Internet. click on that then on any of the 3 connections, then click Wireless Connection and Search for Access Point. If for some reason you get an error message, go to www.support.nintendo.com and enter the error code you got and it will tell you what's wrong and how to fix your problem.
