Q: I have a wii that i borrowed from my brother in law. the av cable he gave me has a blue, green, two reds, and a white wires ending on it. i've plugged the colors in to match to my tv, but all i get is a distorted image on my tv. could it be broken? or is it just not hooked up properly? he DID say it was difficult to hook up, but didn't say how to do it. thanks I do not have an HD tv, my brother in law does though. is that why it won't work?
A: When you hooked it up was it an HD TV or an SD TV.You see the wires you describe are most likely HD components that hook up to a HD TV also be sure you put them on the right colors. Yes that may be the promblem did he happen to give you the simple red white and yellow wire?If he did use those wires instead.
