Q: Well it's been bugging me for about 2 or so months. Every time I turn on my Wii everything is fine, but when I turn it off The power light stays green, even though its supposed to turn red. The problem with this is i'm not playing my wii and my wii gets really warm and I'm worried the heat might damage it. Any answers? D:
A: Actually, the power light is turning yellow, which means standby mode. If you go onto Wifi, then this is an easy fix. Go into the Wii setup menu and select WiiConnect24. When the screen loads, select standby mode and turn it off. Next time you turn off your Wii, the light will turn red. The heat won't damage the Wii as long as the vents are not covered up or the lil' fan is broken.
