A: The USB ports can be used to connect a wired ethernet adapter if you don't have wireless. USB keyboards can be used for text entry in the Internet Channel, Shopping Channel and Message Board. The ports are powered like regular PC USB ports, so they can power anything with 5V DC that works with a PC and don't transmit data (like USB lamps, battery chargers, novelty toys and such). There is speculation (hope?) that the ports will eventually allow USB hard drives to be used for data storage.
