Q: Our wireless internet network is open, but I can't connect my Wii or Nintendo DS to my internet, for some reason. Why?
A: I had the same exact problem. What I did is I called Nintendo, told them the problem, and then they made me change my network ip address, and then my wii and ds were able to connect to it.
